Physics and chemical properties: This material is a scaly crystal, melts point is 105-106???(free acid), it can dissolve in water easily, soluble in organic solvents, such as ethyl alcohol ,methanol and acetone. Stable in room temperature , it has naphthalene smell.
Application:
The action mechanism of Sodium 5-nitroguaiacolate:
